TH6 Attack Strategies ( GiHoLo ) :
Strengths: GiHoLo is a very powerful Town Hall 6 3-star hybrid attack. The only defense that can slow it down are the two Air Defenses, since the Balloons do most of the heavy damage. If you take down the defending Clan Castle troops and both Air Defenses early, no Town Hall 6 will be able to stop GiHoLo. Phase 1 – CC Lure & AD Taketown: Luring is extremely important, due to Baby Dragons and Valkyries being a very popular (and powerful) Town Hall 6 donation. Drop 2 or 3 Archers in the defending Clan Castle trigger ring. Use another 2 or 3 archers to pull the troops to the outside of the base. Circle them with a ring of 15-20 Archers. It’s okay if you need to use more archers to defeat the defending CC troops; the battle will be won with the Balloons and Hog Riders. Once the troops are all down, send in your giants to charge towards an Air Defense with your remaining Archers trailing behind. Next, drop your Clan Castle Hog Riders (4 maxed) as close to the second Air Defense as possible. Use a Healing Spell to keep the Hog Riders’ health up while they’re taking down defenses. Phase 2 – Loons: Your available army should be down to 12 Balloons and 1 Healing Spell. The last defense you want to concentrate on are the 3 Archer Towers. If your Hogs already took care of some of them, excellent! If there are 3 Archer Towers still standing, deploy 4 Balloons onto each. If there are 2 Archer Towers, deploy 6 balloons onto each. If there is just 1 Archer Tower left, send all of your Balloons charging towards it. Drop your last Healing Spell once all the Balloons converge. The balloons will drop bombs right to the triple! Where It Can Go Wrong: Failing to lure out and destroy the defending Clan Castle troops, and not taking down the Air Defenses. If you’re able to handle both of these, you’ll be guaranteed a 3-star. In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: A Town Hall 6 hybrid attack that’s almost impossible to defend against if deployed correctly. It has the power to take out Town Hall 7’s, if that’s all you’re left with in War. It’s also excellent practice for multi-phase war attacks!
TH6 Attack Strategies ( GiHeHo ) :
Strengths: GiHeHo is a very “tanky” Town Hall 6 War attack. It has a similar execution strategy as GiHoLo, with the heal splash support from the 3 Healers. If you can keep the Healers protected, the core of your Army will be able to tank damage while your Wizards and Archers snipe to 3-stars. Phase 1 – CC Lure & AD Taketown: As with most attacks at lower Town Halls (such as 6), luring is very important. Defending Baby Dragons can quickly take down all of your Healers while Valkyries spin right through your Giants. Start the battle clock by dropping 2 Archers in the defending Clan Castle trigger ring to lure out the troops. Use another 2 or 3 archers to pull the troops to the outside of the base. Circle the defending CC troops with about 10 Archers and 3 Wizards. Once you’ve destroyed all of the defending CC troops, it’s time to take down the 2 Air Defenses. If the Air Defenses are close to the edge, send in 1 or 2 Giants to tank, with Wizards and Archers trailing behind. If the Air Defenses are deep in the core, drop 1 or 2 Giants to tank, then your Clan Castle max Hog Riders with a Healing Spell. The goal is to save at least 6 Giants for Phase 2, while bringing down both Air Defenses. Phase 2: Now that the defending Clan Castle troops and both Air Defenses are down, it’s time for the Healers. Drop your remaining Giants in a cluster with your 3 Healers behind them. Once the Giants begin to tank the point defenses, drop your Wall Breakers to breach the outer wall. Start the deployment of your remaining Archers and Wizards to begin the 100% cleanup. If there is a defending Wizard Tower still standing, it’s best to take that down first to avoid continued splash damage. If you still have your Clan Castle Hog Riders available, deploy them now to help out your Giants. Use your final Healing Spell to cover a high-density group of your attacking troops. Where It Can Go Wrong: Failing to fully lure out the defending Clan Castle troops, and not bringing down both Air Defenses will make the 3-star attack much tougher. Spring Traps can also fling away much-needed HP, which can slow down the attack (though not necessarily preventing the triple). In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: A solid attack strategy to hit maxed Town Hall 6 bases in War. It’s slower than GiHoLo, but if you can keep your 3 Healers in the air providing constant Heal Splash to your Giants, you’ll walk away with the triple every time.
TH6 Attack Strategies ( GiHoWi ) :
Strengths: GiHoWi is a very dependable all-ground Town Hall 6 attack. No need to pick off the Air Defenses with this composition! The high HP from the 12 Giants act as a tank while the rest of your offense destroys from the outside in. Phase 1 – CC Lure: The success of a GiHoWi attack comes from keeping the Wizards and Archers protected behind the Giants. Protecting the Giants requires destroying all defending Clan Castle troops early. Start the lure by dropping 2 Archers within the defending Clan Castle trigger ring. Use another 2 or 3 archers to pull the defending troops to the outside of the base. Once they’re out in the open, circle them with about 10 Archers and 3 Wizards. Use the minimum amount of Archers and Wizards for the lure and troop takedown, because they are very important cleanup troops for Phase 2. Phase 2: Once you have the defending Clan Castle troops fully destroyed, you’re ready for the main course of action. Drop 3 packs of 4 Giants in an entry line 3 buildings long. Trail 10 Archers and 6 Wizards behind the 12 Giants to begin taking down defenses and outer buildings. If a large pack of Giants gets targeted by a Wizard Tower, use one of your Healing Spells to keep their health up. Send in the 4 max Clan Castle Hog Riders behind the wall of Giants, along with your Wall Breakers to breach the outer wall. These 4 Hog Riders are key for clearing out a majority of the defense, so keep their HP restored with your final Healing Spell. Snipe all defenseless buildings with your remaining Archers and Wizards. Where It Can Go Wrong: Failing to fully lure out the defending Clan Castle will make your War attack much tougher to 100%. GiHoWi is also a slower War attack, so just keep your eye on the battle clock. To combat the clock running out, use 1 Wizard or 1 Archer per building during the final cleanup stage. In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: Dependable and powerful, but on the slower-side. Fight the battle clock by sniping buildings as soon as your Giants begin tanking. Once you get the GiHoWi timing down, you’ll have no problem 3-starring any Town Hall 6 base you’re faced with in Clan War.
