TH3 Attack Strategies ( GiArch Loon ) :
Strengths: GiArch Loon is a powerful hybrid army at Town Hall 3. This is due to the high HP tanking and attack strength of TEN Giants, plus TWO Balloons. Defenses at Town Hall 3 will easily become overwhelmed with targets while your Archers and Balloons perform the 3-star cleanup. Great attack for both farming and clan war! Phase 1 – Lure: Phase 1 of GiArch involves luring out the enemy Clan Castle troops to remove them from battle. This is extremely important, because a pair of Balloons can flatten your Giants in seconds. Start by dropping 1 Giant as close to the Clan Castle trigger ring as possible to lure out the defending troops. Next, drop 1 Archer on the far outside to pull the Clan Castle troops away from the base defenses. Circle the defending troops with 8-10 Archers to take them down. Onto phase 2! Phase 2 – Takedown the Mortar: Once you have the defending CC troops down, drop your remaining Giants as close to the Mortar as possible. Help them inside the base by dropping your Wall Breakers one at a time. TIP – Deploy your Wall Breakers IN BETWEEN Mortar shots! That poor Mortar won’t last long once your Giants breach the walls 😈. By this point, all of the defenses should be locked onto your Giants. Time to give them the Balloon assist in phase 3! Phase 3 – Balloon & Archers: Start phase 3 by dropping your Clan Castle Balloons close to the defending Archer Tower – the only threat to your Balloons! Once the Archer Tower is down, surgically drop your remaining Archers on surrounding buildings. Game over for your enemy! Just sit back and watch the 3-star attack get secured. ⭐⭐⭐ Where It Can Go Wrong: The two biggest threats to this attack are defending Clan Castle troops and the Mortar. If both are properly taken down, there is nothing to worry about! Additionally… you want to make sure corner-placed Builder Hits are sniped early, as those can OFTEN spoil a 3-star attack. In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: GiArch Loon is a solid army to deploy at Town Hall 3. You’re using 2 of the most effective troops at this level – the Giant and Balloon. It is very difficult for defenses to deal with the high-HP tanking from all of your Giants, plus the bomb drops above with your two Balloons. TH3 Attack Strategies ( Baby GiBArch ) :
Strengths: Baby GiBArch is a great attack to deploy at Town Hall 3. It has everything you need: tanking HP from your 6 Giants, air splash from your Baby Dragon, and BArch cleanup for the 3-star! Timing is crucial for this attack, so practice it on loot raids before jumping into Clan War. Let’s learn Baby GiBArch! Phase 1 – Lure: Phase 1 of Baby GiBArch requires a full Clan Castle lure and troop takedown. This is important because a pair of defending Balloons can wipe out your whole ground army, leaving you with just your Baby Dragon. Spoiler alert…. That won’t go over too well once the Archer Tower locks on! Start by dropping 1 Barbarian close to the Clan Castle to pull out the 10 housing space of troops. Next, drop 1 Giant on a FAR CORNER of the base. Since Giants walk slow, this will provide enough time to lure out the Clan Castle troops to the outside. Once these defending troops are out of the base, circle 10-15 Archers around them to take them down. Onto phase 2! Phase 2 – Takedown the Mortar & Archer Tower: Your next two targets are the defending Mortar and Archer Tower. In that order. Quickly drop your 5 Giants as close to the Mortar as you can. In between Mortar shots, drop your 2 Wall Breakers to let the Giants in the base. Once the Mortar falls, deploy your Clan Castle (with Baby Dragon) close to the Archer Tower. The Archer Tower should be locked onto your Giants, so no need to worry about your Baby Dragon going down. It’s all cleanup from here in phase 3! Phase 3 – BArch cleanup: With your Giants smashing down defenses, and your Baby Dragon dealing splash damage from the skies, it’s all about the BArch cleanup in phase 3! Surgically drop your Barbarians each on 1 outer building. Follow that up by circling the base with your remaining Archers. That’s it! 3-star attack…. Here you come!! 😎 Where It Can Go Wrong: Taking down the defending Clan Castle troops and Archer Tower are very important to the success of Baby GiBArch. This is strictly to keep your Baby Dragon alive for the duration of the match. By doing so, you’re basically guaranteeing a 3-star attack. Additionally, like all Town Hall 3 attacks… you want to make sure corner-placed Builder Hits are sniped early with Barbarians, as those can OFTEN spoil a 3-star attack. In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: Baby GiBArch is a powerful army to train and deploy at Town Hall 3. Much like GiArch Loon, this attack overwhelms the enemies defenses, leaving all of your troops plenty of time to clear out the base for the 3-star attack. Excellent army composition for farming also!
TH3 Attack Strategies ( Baby GiGoblin ) :
Strengths: Baby GiGoblin is a fast hybrid attack! This is mainly due to the 16 Goblins providing a quick cleanup in phase 3 when all defenses are accounted for. The high-HP tanking and offense from your Giants simply can not be contained once the defending Clan Castle troops are out of the battle. Time to learn Baby GiGoblin! ⚡ Before the Attack: If there are any Builder Huts on the 4 corners of the base, drop 1 Archer on each in the beginning of phase 1. Since your army mainly targets defenses and resources, Builder Huts on the corners would be ignored until the very end of the battle, and may prevent a 3-star attack. Phase 1 – Lure: Phase 1 of Baby GiGoblin requires a full Clan Castle lure to take defending troops out of the battle. Drop 1 Archer and 1 Goblin close to the Clan Castle trigger ring to lure out the troops. Next, drop 1 of your Giants on a far corner of the base to pull the defending troops away. Finally, drop your Clan Castle Baby Dragon right behind your Giant. Your Baby Dragon should easily take down any defending Clan Castle troops. Especially if they’re tanking on your Giant! Onto phase 2! Phase 2 – Takedown the Mortar: The Mortar is your next takedown priority. Drop your remaining 8 Giants as close to it as you can. In between Mortar shots, drop your 2 Wall Breakers behind your Giants so they can breach the wall and let them in. Give your Giants about 20 seconds to smash down defenses before deploying any more troops. 20 seconds is up? Time for the final phase 3! Phase 3 – Goblin Rush!: With your Giants taking care of most of the defenses, along with triggering hidden Bombs, it’s time to drop your Goblins. Surgically drop 1 or 2 on each of the outer resource buildings, and then drop the rest behind your Giants. Follow that up by surgically dropping your Archers on surrounding buildings. That’s all there is to it! Your Goblins should whizz through the base taking down remaining non-defense buildings. Where It Can Go Wrong: You need to make sure you take down the enemy Clan Castle troops and Mortar before phase 3, along with waiting for your Giants to take down a few defenses such as the Cannons. Goblins are fast, but are very weak troops. If defenses lock onto them instead of your Giants, this attack will likely not go your way. In Clash Fanatic Conclusion: Baby GiGoblin is a fun one! It’s not too often you bring Goblins into a Clan War battle, but if you’re a Town Hall 3 facing a Town Hall 3 mirror, Goblins are more than welcome! Great for Gold and Elixir farming, too!
